Video Professor participates in “Leaders to Sea Program”

October 29, 2007 at 8:14 pm (Uncategorized) (, , , )

The Video Professor himself, John Scherer, participated in the Leaders to Sea Program, which allowed him to visit a gigantic Navy Ship, a program where they let leaders like John Scherer explore Navy vessels.

When the U.S. Navy invited me to spend a day with them as part of their “Leaders to Sea” program, I (The Video Professor) was overwhelmed with honor. After all, I was being invited to take a close-up look at our Navy’s operations at sea aboard a magnificent ship: the guided missile cruiser, USS Lake Champlain

This experience left John Scherer very moved, and may have contributed to Video Professor’s continuing support for U.S. armed forces, which they have done in the form of programs like Soldiers’ Angels, and by donating many of their patented tutorials as well.

October 20, 2007 at 7:10 pm (Uncategorized) (, , )

The computer software tutorial company, Video Professor, is taking steps towards teen safety, creating the Tillie foundation, a non profit organization designed to help promote safe driving. Teen driving accidents are the number one culprit behind most teen deaths, so this organization has the chance to do a lot of good for teenagers in our country.

Video Professor, a national computer education company, today launched the Video Professor Tillie Foundation, a non-profit foundation educating youths about safe driving practices.

This organization was created after a man was caught using the carpool lane with a dummy in the passenger seat. Video Professor offers new iPod tutorial

October 7, 2007 at 3:46 am (Uncategorized) (, , , , , , )

Video Professor’s latest tutorial is one that I didn’t think they would attempt, it is a new iPod tutorial to help people handle the popular device. Apparently the tutorial is already making waves and has been mirroring the popularity the iPod has enjoyed for many years.

VIDEO PROFESSOR — the leader in comprehensive, self-paced computer software tutorials — is offering a three-lesson Digital Devices Made Easy: iPod®, Smartphones and Home Theaters tutorial to teach people how to enjoy music, videos and games by learning how to use the most popular digital devices on the market today.

I love my iPod and had some difficulties first using it and I felt really stupid. It would have helped out a lot to have a nice easy tutorial that would illustrate how to use it. I think one of the best things about Video Professor products is that they save users the embarrassment of classes or asking their friends for help. Video Professor allows people to learn programs at their own time, at their own pace, and in the comfort of their own home.
